ninja fact #10: create your own #ninjafact

January 27, 2010

Herewith, the first series of ninja facts draws to a close. (Success: I have been looking for an opportunity to say ‘herewith’ on the blog.)

As I am travelling to New York City today for the SCBWI 2010 Winter Conference, it seems a good day for a guest post.

Now it’s your turn: here is your opportunity to debunk any ninja myths you think we missed.  This is not the time to be shy – please share your ninja facts (and any feedback for the artisty-one) in comments.

 Previous ninja facts:

#1 here, #2 here, #3 here, #4 here, #5 here, #6 here, #7 here, #8 here, #9 here

Ahhh…I knew there was something amiss in the force today. I hope you have an awesome time and will wait with baited breath (sardines?) to read (hear) about the adventures you have.

Dr. Kim, it was an amazing trip AND i am up for walking again, which is VERY good news, and was vitally necessary to enjoying my trip.

Dr. Catherine, isn’t the basic value of the martial arts to be aware, alert, and AVOID violence? Of course, if violence finds you, then it is also important to be able to kick ass and take names.

Leisa, thank you for the link. I’ve not been as diligent with the photo blog updating – i enjoy the time it takes to write posts, and to take and process photos, and at the same time, there is the rest of my life and the main creative project: the YA novel. So, i do what i can when i can. I’m glad you have been enjoying the photos.
