slice of summer
I didn’t have to scrape frost from my car this morning. But that’s only because it was snowing. It’s been hovering right around freezing for a while now — for us, that’s cold. I know that the days are getting longer, but sometimes it’s hard to wait.
Today, i’ve been looking at pictures of warm days and warm places. The Blue Angels visit every August during SeaFair. Ed and i have gone most years to see the show, either from the bridge deck, or the end of the runway: both views are exciting.
This shot was taken toward the end of the show, one last pass before the planes split up and head back to the runway: there was a lot of haze and smoke in the air from the many passes already made. Still, that summer-blue sky. Sigh…
